This image from Google Earth gives an idea of the extent of the fields that FOG have available for launching and recovery. The club is very grateful to Steve for letting us use his farm.
The launch site comprises a set of fields separated by low hedges and ditches with a a few trees. It is large and suitable for flying up to H impulse. There is plenty of parking along the road, and access is through gates.
Planks are used to get between some of the fields. Watch your step!
After launching we usually retire to "FOG HQ", The Rose Inn, to discuss the day's events.
